Personal Information Privacy Protection Policy

At Franklin Federal Savings Bank, protecting the privacy of your personal information is a significant responsibility of every employee. We value your business and the trust you put in us. Information provided to us in conjunction with the opening of a savings account or in obtaining one of our loan products is kept confidential.

In order to ensure that customer information remains confidential, we have developed the following Principles of Privacy. We use these principles to guide us in handling all customer information. In addition to these principles, we have also outlined below how to communicate with us when you have a question about your Franklin Federal Savings Bank account.



Franklin Federal's Principles of Privacy
  • Franklin Federal recognizes and respects our customers' expectation that their privacy will be protected.
  • Franklin Federal collects customer information for legitimate business purposes.
  • Franklin Federal strives to maintain information about our customers that is both accurate and complete.
  • Franklin Federal collects information provided by our customers when applying for a savings account or loan, gathered from transactions with us, and obtained from other authorized sources, such as credit bureaus. All information collected and stored by us is used for specific business purposes, such as administering customer accounts, complying with state and federal banking regulations, protecting against fraud, and developing a better understanding of our customers' financial needs in order to provide improved products and services.
  • Franklin Federal does not disclose non-public personal information about our current or former customers to any nonaffiliated third-party, except as permitted by law or authorized by our customers.
  • Franklin Federal may also disclose all of the customer information we collect, as described herein, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
  • Franklin Federal requires outside parties who process information about our customers to abide by "Franklin Federal's Principles of Privacy."
  • Franklin Federal understands that the protection of our customers' non-public personal information is of the utmost importance. Guarding our customers' privacy is our obligation. Franklin Federal Savings Bank maintains strict procedures and policies to safeguard customer privacy. We restrict employee access to customer information to only those who have a business reason to know such information, and we educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy.


Communication with Franklin Federal

To protect your privacy, we cannot disclose information to anyone claiming to represent you, unless they and Franklin Federal have your specific written authorization, are in possession of a "Power of Attorney," or are otherwise authorized by law to represent you.

Bank personnel will not release non-public personal information, either orally or in writing, except as permitted by law or as authorized by our customers. Furthermore, any information provided to our customers or their authorized representatives by telephone will be general in nature.

As with all policies, Franklin Federal Savings Bank reserves the right to modify this Personal Information Privacy Protection Policy in the future. Members will be notified prior to any change in this policy.
